Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk 2008 We not only met our goal, we smashed it!                                  Members of BLPH participated in West Lafayette's Memory Walk, an event that raises funds for Alzheimer's research. Our club's goal was to raise $500. Did we do it? Read on. We not only met our goal, we smashed it! When all of our donations were collected and tabulated, we turned in $941.10!!!   Members who "manned" our tiki tent and handed out beads, leis and temporary tattoos, while keeping the Jimmy Buffett music playing, were Greg and Anne Howard, Max and Arlene Showalter, Dan and Wendy Kelly. When the Memory Walk started we had members Jay Seeger, Beth Grimes, Eric Stone, Max Showalter ,Dan and Wendy Kelly walking the course. Contributions to help support the BLPH members who walked also were received from Pete and Georgia Dunn and Jim and Julie Skinner.  Many, many thanks and a PHins Up!!!
